The calls seemed to come from Bournemouth, which made me a bit wary. Then today, 31st August, I got another call from a very similar Bournemouth number ending in 159144, but again, no message was left. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

I keep getting calls from numbers that look like they’re from Bournemouth, but the last three digits are always different. It’s gotta be some scam about energy or insulation trying to get your bank info and cash. They never say who they are, just hang up. Best not to pick up at all. These dodgy callers should be reported to Action Fraud so the police can catch them quick.

We got a call from someone saying our loft needed extra insulation. They started asking for our names and ages, then said they’d ring back to book a visit. After having a chat, we decided we definitely weren’t interested. These calls are quite dodgy, especially for older folks like us. They claimed it was a FREE service, but I’m not convinced. This call came through around 1pm.

Apparently, his initiative is aimed at folks over the age of 60. However, as soon as I mentioned I was only 40, he abruptly ended the conversation. How curious!

It was as if someone had pressed mute, as the line went completely silent. In the end, we decided to end the call.
