Got a call from a number I didn’t know. They didn’t bother leaving any voicemail. Kinda feels like a scam to me.

I keep getting calls from this bloke a few times a week claiming to be an energy advisor, talking about grants for home improvements. It's getting pretty annoying now. I did answer a couple of questions about my house for one of the more believable schemes, but he never bothered to ask who he was speaking with at the beginning of the call. When he tried to get me to confirm the spelling of my name, I told him he should already know it if he’d actually called me. Today he called himself John, but before he’s used different names.

Someone calling from 01202143559 claimed my loft insulation hadn’t been updated properly. When i questioned who they were and if it was some official government thing, they just ended the call straight away.

My landline buzzed with this number even though I’m signed up to the prefered calls list. I had no idea who was calling and wasn’t waiting for any calls. They didn’t leave a voice message either, which made me think it was probably a scam.
