Someone called me claiming to be from "Windows and Doors" but from a number that was a bit different: 01202 143 162. As soon as I told them it was a business, they just hung up. Tried calling back, but the line wouldn’t connect at all.

I also found out they're using the number 01202 143045 too, which I think is linked to an insulation scam. Wouldn't trust either of these numbers, they seem dodgy.

I picked up the answerphone but no message was left. The 01202 is Bournemouth’s area code, and after checking out loads of legit companies there, I couldn’t find any with a number beginning 01202 ‘xc. Like many here, my guess is this is probably a scam attempt.

My mum and dad, who are quite old, got calls twice in just an hour from someone saying they were with the energy advisory board, pushing loft insulation deals. I asked them to take their number off the list but annoying enough, they phoned back the very next day. They had to tell them again, quite strictly, to stop calling them.

Had a call from some bloke named ‘Sam’ claiming to be from ‘Windows and Doors Ltd’. Seemed quite posh and asked loads about me. I told him straight it was a cold call and I wasn’t going to chat, then told him to jog on. Bit funny seeing other people saying they got calls from that number too.
