Another day, another call from someone pretending to be Chris, pushing loft insulation services. First off, he claims to be some “local energy advisor” but I’m nowhere near Bournemouth. Then he says my loft insulation isn’t up to code, but how would he even know what’s in my loft, or if there’s one at all? And the name he gives? Definitely not Chris. Now he’s ringing from other numbers too, like 01202 143045. So annoying!

I've gotten 7 calls today from numbers starting with 0120 like 143046, 040, 048, 052 and 051. I picked up once and told them to stop calling and to take me off their list, plus we're registered with the call blocking service. Still, they keep ringing me over and over even when I'm not home. It's feeling like harrassment now and I’m planning to report it to the police.

Got a call from someone called Chris who was going on about how regular glassfibre or rockwool insulation in lofts causes mould in loads of houses. He tried to pitch me a survey for £75, but said it was free for people my age. I said no thanks but he kinda didn’t seem to get it and just ended the call. The way he spoke was weird, like he kept stopping oddly like a machine or something - maybe he was taking notes or recording the chat? Either way, just felt off and not someone I would trust. Just my two pennies.
