Had a bloke ring me up, saying he's from some loft insulation company. He started going on about how my loft insulation was old or not up to scratch or something. Thing is, the previous owner of my house did a full renovation, did everything right from the floorboards right up to the roof, so I knew he was full of rubbish. I just nicely told him to piss off and that was that.

Had a bloke turn up claiming to be selling loft insulation, saying something like "our files show your insulation’s the old kind" or whatever. Thing is, the previous owner gutted the entire place, did everything from new floorboards right up to the roof, so there was no way his story was true. Just nicely told him to jog on.
