I got a call from 012021111137153 about loft insulation just now. When I told the lady on the phone that she’d already called me a few days ago, she just denied it and ended the call right away. Quite odd!

This number kept ringing me over and over, felt like a total scam, so I just blocked it.

Got a voicemail from some bloke who sounded well drunk, muttering something like “30 quid and I got smashed.” You could hear a girl giggling in the background too. Didn’t really fancy dealing with it so I blocked the number straight away. Had a thought about ringing him back at 2 in the morning when I’m on the loo, but reckon it could be a fake number anyway.

I called back because the number looked local, thinking it might be someone I know. But when I got through, it was one of those American automated voices saying to hold for the next available rep or something. I just hung up after that.

I reckon this was probably a scam call. A lady rang me up about some loft insulation thing. When I asked who she was, she said her name was Carly and then tried to make sure I was the person who owns the house. We don't need any loft insulation, and we definitely wouldn't deal with home improvements like that through cold calls. So, I told her I wasn’t going to answer, and hung up straight away.
