I received a call from someone named Chris as well. He inquired about my age and whether I owned my home, claiming I was selected for a survey concerning loft insulation. He acted as though I were an elderly, vulnerable individual. When I pressed for his phone number, he replied, “my manager will go over this with you when he gets in touch.” Despite my responses, he persistently assumed I was a homeowner. I told him, “I’ll speak with your manager when he calls.” I doubt I’ll hear from them again.

I received a call from someone claiming to be a "local regional energy adviser," who mentioned that my loft insulation was outdated and that my details were supposedly on some kind of "database." What a load of nonsense! When I inquired about the company he represented, he said it was "Green Eco Energy" and hinted at wanting to schedule a survey. Quite insistent, if you ask me! I made it clear that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and instructed him to cease calling me immediately.

I mean, the only reason I picked up was that I was actually anticipating a call from a prince regarding my winnings from a Nigerian lottery. Come on! I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I shouldn't be receiving such calls, especially from reputable businesses.

I received a call about a complimentary survey for loft insulation, but I couldn't help but feel a bit wary when the caller claimed that the majority of homes around here had already had it done. I mean, how on earth would he have access to that sort of information? It just raised a few eyebrows for me.

Received a call from someone claiming to represent the Green Eco Centre in London. He introduced himself as Chris and mentioned that a number of residences in my vicinity had already been assessed. He insisted I might be eligible for a complimentary survey, supposedly valued at £75, on account of my age (though I've already informed him I'm not over 50). When I posed some questions, he seemed rather dodgy with his replies and didn’t appear to be paying much heed to what I was saying. The conversation felt a bit off, to be honest.

I received a rather curious phone call today from an outfit calling themselves Green Eco Centre, supposedly regarding loft insulation and some matter of condensation. They seemed particularly keen on ascertaining whether I fell into the age bracket of over 50 or 80. When I pressed them about how they acquired my number, they promptly hung up on me. The number that flashed up was 01202137340. Curiously, when I tried to ring back, I was met with a recorded message indicating it’s a market research firm. Quite peculiar, wouldn’t you say?

After listening to my voicemail, I caught a snippet of someone’s voice before they abruptly ended the call. Not the best news, especially after perusing these accounts. I've now added this number to my blocked contacts list.

This has happened a few times now, calls from what looks like our local energy advisor but the numbers keep changing slightly, like 01202 137105, 137116, 137117, and 137131. All just the same scam and it's really frustrating to keep blocking them one by one. I've signed up for the TPS but they keep ringing anyway.

Got a call from someone who said his name was ‘Matthew’ and claimed he was following up about ‘loft lagging’. I don’t even have a loft, so I just ended the call straight away.
