07/07/21 - Called by 01202 137085 at 3:33pm, from Bournemouth. The bloke said his name was Daniel and he was checking in about some cavity wall insulation grant supposedly from the Government. I told him to shove it and that he was talking nonsense. Over the past year and a half, I've been hounded loads by dodgy people like this. Proper annoying and makes me furious.

Had a call about loft insulation, right? I asked where exactly that would be, then they wanted my surname. I told them I’d just be guessing if it’s in their contacts. I probably sounded a bit daft, coz they just hung up and blocked me after that.

Today I got a call from a bloke who said the insulation in my house might be getting damp because of condensation, which could cause mould to grow. He offered to send someone round to take a look. He also wanted to know if we’d ever converted the place where the insulation was put in. After hearing all that, I asked him exactly which insulation he meant, and then he just cut me off and ended the call.

Had a call from some bloke called Chris, said he’s an insulation surveyor nearby. He reckoned my loft insulation might be behind some damp and mould problems and offered a free survey. I wasn’t convinced and asked a few questions, but he just said there’s been loads in the news and from government warnings about it. Then he claimed he was new at the job so I should be patient, that his manager would ring me later to answer any more questions. And then he just dropped the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
