Someone kept breathing really loudly on the phone, it was kinda creepy. When I chuckled, they ended the call right away.

Got several calls from the same number over and over. Quite annoying!

this company keeps ringing me twice now, claiming they're some sort of energy saving executive for my home, whatever that’s supposed to mean. i just ended the call both times, didn’t fancy dealing with it.

Some people came round claiming they need to check my house to put insulation under the roof tiles, saying it could cut my energy bills by 30% and that there’s a 60% government grant involved - which I’ve never come across before. I wasn’t convinced, especially since my loft is just storing some old skis and I like it cosy up there. They reckoned my fibreglass insulation was shot and losing heat. If that’s true, I’m more likely to just slap another layer on myself. Seems like it’d cost me less that way.

Not really sure what that was about. I heard some weird static and a voice mumbling something like Nikki or Vicky, mentioning a booking for 12 o’clock. Thought it was a wrong number at first, but then I noticed loads of people getting similar messy recordings. Makes me think it could be some trick to get you to ring them back and then hit you with massive bills. I've stopped calling back or using 1471 straight away after hearing about scams where they keep the line open so you get charged for ages. Probably nothing dodgy, but better safe than sorry, right?

Got a call where nobody spoke on the other end, super weird!

Not too sure who it was - they rang me thrice this morning. Left a weird, jumbled message with a noisy background like a call centre. When I called back, i got a message saying ‘sorry, there’s a fault’. Had almost the same thing happen before with numbers ending in .118854 and .118852. Both times, calling back gave me a fault message again. I’m guessing this might be some kind of big scam operation from Poole. I answered one call a few days ago and felt really pushed to agree to something. Not gonna fall for it again.

I received a call from this number where they inquired about my name and promptly ended the call. Quite disconcerting, to say the least.

i could hear loads of chatter from a call centre when they rang, so i just ended the call straight away.
