for the past couple of weeks, this number keeps calling us nonstop. they never bother to leave a message and usually hang up right when we pick up. if your phone has caller id, i'd say just dont pick up. let it ring out to voicemail cos this number seems really sketchy and not trust worthy at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a conservation charity, but something felt off. I only shared a bit of info, then he started asking weird questions about loft insulation. When I didn’t give the answers he wanted, he said I was wasting his time. Honestly, I’m puzzled about the purpose of that call.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from some conservation firm. The bloke was really rude. I kept telling him I wasn't interested, but then he asked if I was the only owner of my house. When I said no, he snapped back wanting to talk to someone “with a brain.” Proper unpleasant.

Definitely a scammer, I’d say don’t bother answering when it rings.

So I answered the phone and the bloke didn’t realise it was me he was talking to and just started swearing straight away. Then he said sorry for swearing and warned me not to contact his boss or else he’d lose his job. If the boss happens to see this, the call came in at 3:04pm on Tuesday 8th September 2020, from a 01249 number. I’m not holding my breath for anything to be done since they barely pay any attention to these things, but I didn’t want to ring back since that would cost me.

This number has kept ringing me a few times this past week without leaving a voicemail. When I answered yesterday, it cut off straight away as both my phone and answer machine picked up together. Today, a person saying they were a "home efficiency officer" for my neighbourhood got in touch, but they didn’t know my exact address. I was a bit wary about what they wanted and refused to share anything. In the end, they promised to delete my info from their records.

Keeps ringing but never leaves a message. I don’t pick up because it seems like one of those scams targeting vulnerable folks like me on a pension.

Got a call from some bloke named Joe White about illegal fibreglass in my loft being dangerous. Apparently, they tested houses nearby and found really high levels that could mess up your lungs big time. I told Joe straight up I wasn’t interested and was about to hang up. He actually got offended and said I was rude for cutting him off. To me, it felt ruder to just listen to something I didn’t care about!

Had a call from someone named David Jones, talking nonsense about asbestos and fibreglass floors in lofts not meeting regs. Sounds like a proper con to me!

Got a call but no voicemail, so I just blocked the number.

Ignored the call, it went straight to voicemail. Could hear loads of people talking noisy in the background. Pretty obvious it was a call centre and their attitude was rubbish too.

I couldn't quite make out what he was saying but he claimed he was an ‘inspector’. I reckon it was some sort of scam trying to get info from me. When I asked how he got my number considering GDPR rules, he just said it was on their list, which sounds dodgy to me. I'm planning to report this to trading standards.

I've been getting calls from this number on and off for years now. They've even rung me up four times back to back on some occasions, despite me telling them to stop. It's really annoying.

I got a call from someone named David Seaman who was asking for the homeowner. Once I told him I wasn’t the owner, he just ended the call straight away.

A really muffled message was left, clearly trying to trick us into answering the phone through the BT Call Guardian device we use. We didn’t pick up though, luckily. The good thing is, with BT Call Guardian we can just block the number so they can’t bother us anymore.
