I received a call from a chap who introduced himself using the name of the resident here. I quickly informed him that he had dialled the wrong number. Instead of accepting that, he began to probe further, throwing out the name of a street. Just as I was about to reply, he abruptly hung up. To say he was charming would be far from the truth!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number, with someone claiming to be from the Council's heritage department. They spoke with a British accent and started by confirming the name of my property before abruptly ending the call. Curious, I redialled the number only to be greeted by an American voice informing me that I'd reached a number that wasn't in service. Quite the odd situation, wouldn't you agree? The original caller definitely had a British male tone.

It's a dodgy call, clearly some bloke with an English accent trying his luck by mentioning the name of a house, probably just fishing for information. As soon as I pushed back a bit, he promptly hung up. Definitely don't return the call; I suspect it’s coming from an IP address. The name he used sounded like a mix of Dick and Head-or something equally ridiculous, to be honest.
