I'm constantly bombarded with bothersome calls, and it's becoming unbearable. They even ring me at the most unreasonable hours, like 9:45 on a Sunday evening and 9am on a Saturday! As a 75-year-old, I find this incredibly distressing. If anyone has some effective advice on how I can put an end to these intrusive interruptions, I would be most grateful.

Another telemarketer added straight to my "Blocked Numbers" list. Most smartphones nowadays have a "Block Number" option in the settings, so I don't get why people get so riled up. It's like a contest to see who can rant without swearing or being rude. Just relax! A cold call, nuisance call, whatever you want to call it, is just a brief interruption in an otherwise normal day. Loads of comments full of bitterness and anger. Pretty typical, if you ask me, for your usual Brexiteer type.

This call got sent straight to my BT Call Protect junk voicemail. BT Call Protect is free to use and you can block numbers by adding them to your own blacklist. Setting it up online was super simple and I’d definitely suggest giving it a go.

I signed up with TPS and reported it but they told me they couldnt do anything because the number and company name dont actually exist. Total rubbish. With all the searches and complaints on here surely the authorities could track these people down. Received a rather peculiar call today from Eco Systems - they inquired about a £500 voucher supposedly sent my way a few days back. Naturally, I feigned knowledge. Then they asked if it was for solar panels, to which I replied, 'Not at all.' They then ventured to suggest new windows, but I quickly pointed out I’d just had those sorted. Next up were the front and back doors; I informed them those were already done too. The conversation took an entertaining turn when they pitched a lovely porch for the front - to which I simply retorted, 'No thanks, I drive a Lamborghini.' And with that, I said my goodbyes!

I received a call from this number, but there was no name shown on my caller ID. I tend to bide my time and wait for them to begin their message before actually answering the phone. I’ve noticed that nuisances and fraudsters rarely leave messages. After that, I make it a point to look up the number. This method seems to do the trick! Got a call from some Smart Savings Centre lot, asking if I’d got my vouchers yet. They even asked for my partner by name, so they must have gotten our number and info from somewhere dodgy. They were pushing a 40% discount on outside home improvements, saying they use “all local companies.” I told them it sounded way too good to be true and gave them the brush-off. I’m blocking the number through BT now. They left an office mobile to ring back on: 07985 702825, and that one’s getting blocked too. They weren’t pushy, actually quite polite, but 40% off? Yeah right, I’m not daft.

It seems I’ve been roped into a call from something called "smart save," which supposedly had a £500 home improvement voucher for me. I firmly told them I hadn’t received anything and wasn’t keen, but they persisted like it was their life’s mission, saying another voucher would be on its way! I made it abundantly clear that I had zero interest and requested my number be taken off their list. However, the rep informed me I’d receive yet another call about reallocating said voucher before hanging up after thanking me for my time! Quite the cheek, honestly!

Got a bloke ring me today claiming to be from some energy advice company. Told him not to bother as I'm on the TPS list. He sounded English, just said "have a good one" and ended the call. Just checked here and it seems these lot just ignore the TPS rules, they really ought to be slapped with a fine.

Ringin elderly folk in council flats? They get told to remove themselves from the voting list, hints council might’ve sold info, totally ignoring TPS or any do-not-call regs. I've been getting calls nearly every night after 9pm from a private number about scrapping windows, this has been happening for ages. I tried pressing 9 to stop them but they kept ringing, so I eventually pressed 5 to ask for a callback. When they rang back, I told them exactly what I thought. The number that showed up was 01202.

I've been absolutely inundated with calls from this lot! They keep ringing me up three or four times daily. I picked up once, and they claimed it was regarding some insurance matter, which is ironic since I used to have a policy with them. I believe they called themselves Insurance Direct or something along those lines. It's beyond frustrating! I've added them to my blocked list, but they persist in trying to get through.
