Got a call at 9:45 this morning, but the person hung up just as my voicemail kicked in. Pretty standard move for those annoying spam calls.

Some bloke rang me up claiming I had a policy with their company but didn't say which one. I told him I don’t have any cover for drains since I rent through a housing group. Then he just cut me off suddenly. Feels like another scam to me. These calls are pretty much a daily nuisance nowadays.

My mum got a call from this number about some supposed debt for water or drainage charges. They rattled off her debit card details - which I’m not totally sure were right - but the scary part was they mentioned a password she normally uses. Mum doesn’t have internet or really use her card online at all. When she said she didn’t know what they meant and asked them to send a letter explaining it, they just hung up on her! Be careful out there!

I got two calls from this number asking for a second payment for drainage insurance, which they claimed began last year. The caller said it was from South West Drains (or something like that). They never gave me a policy number but mentioned a Barclaycard number for the supposed payment - which wasn’t right. So, I phoned the company directly, and they told me they don't operate in Hampshire at all and definitely weren’t behind the calls. They also said quite a few people had been in touch about the same thing, so it seems like they had to clarify it several times.

I just got another sketchy call from someone claiming I owe money for a service I don’t even use! Definitely not something I signed up for, feels like a scam to me!

Got a call from 01202016728, and they seemed like they were familiar with my missus. They asked for Mrs #####, and when I told them she wasn’t in, I offered to take a message but the line just cut off. Bit odd, if you ask me.
