Doesn't really add up how this could be legit, so watch out.

Got a call from this number, and a lady with an Asian accent tried to convince me my kitchen appliance insurance was rubbish and that she could sort me out a better deal. Thing is, I don’t even have that kinda insurance. When I told her this, she just went quiet and hung up. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a call from this number; most times they just cut off right after I pick up.

This number rang me twice within a week, trying to convince me they could cut costs on my white goods insurance. Since I don’t actually have any insurance like that, I humoured them till they asked for my bank details. That’s when I told them there was no way they could save me money since I wasn’t paying a penny. Credit where it’s due, the person calling was polite and kept their cool the entire time during the pointless chat.

Got one of those classic calls again, this time from someone claiming to offer government-endorsed warranty on household appliances. Didn’t bother with TPS, just kept ringing. I had a word and suggested she find a proper job instead of scamming folks, maybe then people would actually respect her! Lucky I was at my mum's place when it happened... she's 92 years old.

Obviously, none of it was true. My partner was polite enough and asked her to ring me instead, so gave her my work number - surprise, surprise, no follow-up call. Honestly, it was pretty funny listening to him squirm like that.

At about 10.47 this morning, Wednesday 6th June, I got a call from a lady saying something about my white goods warranty running out and offering to switch me over. Thing is, I've never had any kind of white goods cover, so I made it clear straight away that she wasn’t to mess about with anything on my behalf. After that, she just dropped the call.

Just like loads of others, these people said they worked for SS and tried to sell me cheaper cover for my washing machine than my existing one. Not sure if they’re proper scammers or just trying to drum up new customers.
