7 yearsAt around 3.40am on a Saturday, my landline got called but I couldn’t pick up quick enough. When I tried ringing back that number, it just wouldn’t connect. Then, at 7.20am, a different phone number called me and it turned out to be the out of hours doctor giving me an update on blood test results. I told him I couldn't make it, so he told me to contact my own GP. Funny thing is, my GP called me at 8am and gave me similar advice but had no clue about any duty doctor.
