Got calls from 0118 998 2000 a couple of times between 2am and 5am but no voicemail left. Funny thing is, I’d already spoken to NHS 111 the day before. Then a paramedic rang me back at around 7 in the morning.

I just received a return call from NHS 111. The caller ID displayed was NHS 111.

The number 0118 990 2000 called me three times between 1 and 2 in the morning. I was asleep and missed them, and when I finally noticed, the calls had nearly stopped ringing. This all started after I phoned 111 the previous day around 1pm to request a replacement prescription. They then called me back three times, apparently because they couldn’t reach me earlier. Well, that’s some impressive efficiency for you.

This is NHS 111 returning the call. I've used NHS 111 loads over the years and have always found their service to be reliable, never had any issues. But I've noticed when they try to call back my BlackBerry Keyone, it doesn't ring, though I get a missed call alert. Could be something wrong with my phone as they keep attempting to call. Just to mention, the callback number here in Reading or from other NHS 111 locations like Dudley doesn’t seem to pick up. Because of this, I always prefer to give my landline for NHS 111 callbacks. Overall, NHS 111 is a brilliant service.

I believe the call is related to the NHS's out-of-hours service. I reached out to 111, and shortly after that, my phone rang. Just as I was getting ready to pick up the call around 4:15 in the morning, they abruptly disconnected. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me. When I attempted to ring back, the number was unreachable. Frustrated, I eventually turned off my phone and decided it just wasn't worth the hassle anymore.

Had a really bad experience with the out of hours number above. I rang NHS 111 and got a call back from a woman named Zareena from 0118990 2000. She was so rude and her tone was totally awful. I was in a lot of pain and she didn’t help at all, just being really unkind. No idea how she ended up in that role, but honestly, the service was just plain awful.

The doctor on the phone was really unfriendly. I told him about my chest pains, high blood pressure, and a racing heart. He just told me to go to A&E, which is 20 miles away. When I asked how I was supposed to get there at 5:30 in the morning on a Sunday, he said "not my problem, I’m not arguing" and then just ended the call. Such a lovely example of professionalism and empathy. Now I'm sat here waiting for an ambulance. No thanks to him. Absolutely awful service.

So this was one of those after hours doctors. I got a call from him after I'd rung 999 and got told it wasn’t an emergency. He gave me advice about what was wrong and really put me at ease, very kind and supportive.

I got a call with false health info about a supposed emergency, which made us rush to A&E and waste the whole day. We both lost out financially and barely got any sleep, then spent all day at the hospital just to find out the call was full of rubbish. Really annoyed and upset. My wife already has health problems and this has just made everything worse. The caller said they were from Care UK Surrey.
