I waited for a response, but nobody picked up; the call dropped after about fifteen seconds.

I picked up the call, but all I could hear was silence followed by some clicking sounds before the line went dead.

Had a ring this morning from someone purporting to be with Microsoft. To be honest, they didn't sound very credible, especially considering the current mess in the tech world. Could just be someone trying their luck!
