I received a call intended for my 95-year-old mother, claiming that BT owed her £250. Fortunately, she wisely passed the phone over to me. Once I informed them it sounded like a scam, they promptly hung up!

I received a rather concerning automated call today regarding some supposed transactions on my bank account. It urged me to get in touch with an adviser for clarification. Quite alarming, I must say!
