4 yearsBeware, this is a trick. I got a robo call saying there’d been a dodgy transaction on my account, supposedly from a major company like Visa or Amazon. The message said if I hadn’t made the purchase, to press a button to speak to them. Don’t do it! They pretended they’d refunded me £80 but accidentally sent £8000 instead, then tried to convince me to log into my account to fix the mistake. They probably showed a fake bank screen to make it look legit, showing the £8000 credited. It sounded very convincing; we nearly got caught out. In fact, the call said Amazon charged us an annual fee, when we normally pay every month.
