She insisted that I needed to arrange for an inspection of my loft regarding the fiberglass insulation, claiming it could irritate my lungs. Curiously, she didn’t bother to introduce herself or provide any sort of identification. She assured me that an inspector would be ringing me shortly, specifically within half an hour, to sort out an appointment. Despite my repeated attempts to inform her that I was already familiar with the state of my loft insulation and had no time for further calls, she persisted relentlessly. It became quite clear that she was not going to take no for an answer until, finally, she seemed to grasp that I wasn’t interested in scheduling a visit, and we concluded the conversation.
