Got a voicemail saying it was from my bank’s security team. It asked me to press a button to speak to someone. Heard this exact message before from different phone numbers. Sounds dodgy to me.

Got a call on my home phone from 01189623012, a bloke called Oscar who spoke with a thick Indian accent. He claimed he was from BT and threatened to cut off my internet because of some supposed illegal stuff. Thing is, BT isn't even my provider, so I knew straight away it was a scam. When I called him out, he started getting rude, so I just hung up. The number looks like a local Berkshire one, but it’s probably been hijacked by a scammer in India. How does that even happen?
