I received a call from a chap with a foreign accent discussing television upkeep and the cost of the TV licence, which has apparently been slashed from £7 to £5. Quite the reduction, isn’t it?

I got a call from this number today saying my TV service contract was due to end and offered to renew it for £5 a month. Problem is, I don’t have any TV service contract at all! Plus, my number is on the TPS list so they were already doing something dodgy. When I asked how they got my number, they started talking over me. Then, when I requested to speak to a manager, they called me silly and just hung up! Absolutely rude. I then tried calling back using 1471, but the number just doesn’t seem to exist. What a waste of time!
