I got a call on my landline from a woman with an Indian accent who claimed she was from BT tech support, saying they had detected my internet was running slowly. When I didn’t get involved, she tried to convince me it wasn’t a dodgy scam by reciting my mobile number that’s linked to BT. Even after that, when I still hung up, she started swearing at me in a really nasty way - stuff I doubt BT reps would even be allowed to say. Seemed very unprofessional to me.
