Since early June 2024, this number has left me loads of calls on my home phone, right when a bunch of scam calls started up again after a short break. I picked up one time and some recorded voice claimed to be from the Inland Revenue - I didn’t even bother staying on the line after that. It also rang my mobile pretending to be from a bank, but again, I just hung up straight away. I never say anything when it rings now - just won’t answer. The person has an American accent.
