Got a call on my landline from some American woman with a recorded message saying my Amazon Prime was charged £39.99 and thanking me for being a loyal member. I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account, never have. Just hung up straight away.

got a message from some automated voice claiming to be amazon tellin me my prime membership is gonna be renewed automatically for 79.99. they said i could press 1 to talk to someone to cancel it, but i know i dont actually have prime right now, so theres no way it’s coming up for renewal. feels like a scam to me, probably just tryna trick me into giving up my amazon login so they can go on a free shopping spree or somethin!
