Got a recorded call on my landline from 01187326334, a woman saying my internet would be cut off within a day due to some so-called fraudulent behaviour. The message went on telling me to get in touch for more info but I ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam, so don’t answer back or share any info. No clue who it was really from.

I received a recorded message from an English-speaking lady who didn’t specify her affiliation. She warned me that my internet would be cut off within 24 hours due to some alleged fraudulent activity. Just as she was about to provide more details, I decided to hang up; I had no intention of sticking around for what sounded like a dodgy scam. It’s quite alarming, really. I’d advise anyone to terminate the call instantly if they get something similar. This number appears to be from the Reading area, yet there's no trace of any legitimate company behind it, which raises all sorts of red flags.
