7 yearsEarlier today, at precisely 13:23 on the 17th of June 2019, I received a rather peculiar phone call from an unidentified individual. The chap began by stating that he was calling in relation to my telephone. Curious, I inquired about what the issue was, to which he bluntly responded, “your phone is utterly knackered.” Taken aback, I asked him if he really just said that, and he confirmed, reiterating, “your phone is completely knackered.” I fired back that I hoped his conversation was being recorded, considering such uncouth language, to which he retorted with a disrespectful “sod off” before abruptly terminating the call.
