I had a strong feeling that this chap was up to no good as my phone flagged his number as a potential scammer. Yet, he was relentless, bombarding me with calls - seven in total - before I finally caved in and picked up. He claimed to have knowledge of my involvement in a traffic incident, which was completely absurd.
