Somebody called me about loft insulation and said they had a special gadget to check for damp in my place. She even claimed that, despite my house being brand new, the wrong insulation was put in. Honestly, whatever. They kept hassling me non-stop, really irritating. Honestly, don’t waste your time talking to them like I did - so annoying!

One of three things will happen now: either the poor soul on the other end will find themselves in hot water for their lacklustre approach to cold calling; come to realise the futility of their existence in such a dreary line of work; or, regrettably, spiral into a far darker place. But ultimately, that’s not for me to fret about. Rest easy, my friend.

Got a sales call out of the blue. Kept pushing for them to say where they got my number from but they just stuck to their script and wouldn't say. After about 15 seconds of me insisting, they just hung up. Says a lot about how these calls work really.
