Somebody called me about loft insulation and said they had a special gadget to check for damp in my place. She even claimed that, despite my house being brand new, the wrong insulation was put in. Honestly, whatever. They kept hassling me non-stop, really irritating. Honestly, don’t waste your time talking to them like I did - so annoying!

After about fifteen seconds of me insisting calmly but firmly, they just hung up. Honestly, the person on the other end might either lose their job for being rubbish at sales, maybe figure out that this line of work is pretty miserable, or end up taking a really dark path. Whatever happens, it’s not something you need to worry about. No need to lose sleep over it.

The call was mercifully cut short after around fifteen seconds of my steady yet firm plea for clarification on their data origins. Honestly, one can only hope that the poor soul on the other end either gets a good talking-to for their lacklustre approach to sales, or perhaps comes to realise the dreary nature of this type of work. Alternatively, they might find themselves spiralling into a bleak mental state, but that’s really not my concern. No need for you to lose sleep over it!
