They told me my energy provider stopped operating back in FEB and EdF has taken over all the accounts. I couldn’t give them my account number when asked, so they said they’d ring me back on Tuesday. How did they even get that info in the first place? Looks dodgy to me, so I’m labelling this one as RISKY until I look into it more.

It’s so annoying how often I get calls from folks pushing supposed better utility offers. They’re mostly quite pushy and rude, and even after I tell them to stop bothering me and take me off their lists, the calls just keep coming. Total waste of time!

Got calls from some company saying they can sort cheaper deals on electric, phone, and gas. We told them to stop ringing us three times already, but they keep calling, about once daily. When I do pick up, they just don’t answer. It’s really getting annoying! Today’s caller claimed I asked for a call in the new year ‘cause our tariff’s ending - which is complete rubbish. We’ve told them in no uncertain terms to leave us alone. This is the fourth time we’ve tried to get off their calling list, but honestly, I’m not hopeful it’ll stop.

I received a phone call at twenty past eight on a Saturday morning, which was promptly followed by more calls from the same number at twenty past nine and then again at ten fifty. The initial call was answered, and I found myself speaking to a gentleman with a distinctly Indian accent, whose command of English seemed quite shaky. Picked up the call from this number for the first time, and it seemed to be a call centre-sounded very much like the accent was Indian. I could only make out about a third of what they were saying, to be honest. So, I just politely said, "Sorry, not interested," and hung up.

He offered us a deal on gas and electric that supposedly would save money, but it seemed way overpriced - like up to 70% dearer than our current supplier. I’ve relentlessly received calls from this number even after I’ve blocked it on my device. It’s a company peddling their services to help reduce electricity and gas costs.
