Just got a call a short while ago from an unknown number, so I didn't pick up. They hung up straight away and left no voicemail. After looking it up here, I'm really glad I avoided it. about those last comments - just had a look, numbers startin with 118 are for directory enquiries. usually, you get charged a fee just to get through (could be anywhere from 50p to £4) and then on top of that, they charge by the minute which can be up to £5 per minute. so if you try callin them back, you’ll be hit with a huge bill. seems like their whole game is to get you to ring again!

Got a call from 011831050903 earlier today, some foreign bloke asking for my husband. Said they were from Scottish Power and wanted to switch our energy supplier. I told him no way, we're happy with our current one, and said we didn’t want the call. Hung up straight away. Definitely a scam, really frustrating and could be risky if anyone ends up giving their info out.
