It’s pretty evident this could be a dodgy call attempting to lure me into signing up for some sort of monthly contract with Carphone Warehouse. The typical chatter you hear from these callers - asking about my day and all that. It’s definitely a scam, so I’d recommend hanging up or just not picking up at all.

Got a scam call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was calling from Carphone Warehouse about a new phone deal. Looks like one of those dodgy scams, but I wasn’t having any of it and hung up straight away before they could try to con me. Best just ignore or hang up if you get a call like this.

They claimed they were from a mobile network (not Carphone Warehouse) offering to sell me a phone with a mad contract, asked about what phone I currently use. Ive never had any business with these phone firms for my mobile. Definitely a scam, prob trying to get your bank or card info or just push rubbish phone deals and contracts you dont want.
