They came round saying that underfloor insulation isn’t allowed anymore and that I’d have to switch to this foam stuff instead. According to them, my house was one of the very few nearby that didn’t have this foam fitted yet, and they claimed it’d cut down loads on my energy bills. Thing is, I live in a tiny village and everyone knows when tradesmen have been to a place. Honestly, almost everything he said was complete rubbish, apart from the “hello” he started with.

Got a call at 3:07 pm but as soon as I picked up the phone went straight to the answer machine and then cut out. Feels like a scam since they didn’t even give me a chance to speak.
