Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE trying to pitch a ‘great deal’. They wanted me to confirm my ID, but when I said I couldn’t recall it, they just shrugged it off like it wasn’t important! Since I don’t even have EE, I figured it was dodgy straight away. I kept them on the line to look up the number, then they asked for my email. I said no way, especially as the number popped up flagged as suspicious. Next thing, the caller just hung up on me. Proper cheeky, if you ask me!
