I got a text supposedly from O2 saying they’d send me a new SIM for 5G and give me 30% off my bill. I rang O2 directly and they said it was a scam. The annoying thing is they had loads of my details and even used an O2 number to send the message with some code. Definitely don’t trust it!

Received two calls from this number earlier today. Each time, the call was over in a flash, leaving me no opportunity to pick up. I tried returning the call, but it turns out the line won’t accept incoming calls. I've absolutely no clue about who this person or business may be.

I suspect this is from O2. I contacted them directly, and they confirmed that it’s not a legitimate operation. They certainly seem to have all the right information, and they even text from what appears to be an O2 number. It’s quite alarming!!!
