I received a call from someone purporting to represent Currys PC World, and they began to bombard me with so-called "special" mobile phone deals. Despite my clear disinterest, the caller seemed rather insistent and wouldn't accept my polite refusal.

Just got a call a short while back, there was a weird pause before anyone said anything after I picked up. The person said they were ringing from Currys or PC World and immediately started their sales spiel. They ignored everything I said until I told them to take my number off their list, then they cut me off straight away without a word. Definitely sounded like some kind of scam or telemarketer.
