Around 30 minutes ago, I got a call from this number. My UK phone number is now linked to a cloud system called Xpatfone. I didn’t pick up the phone, however, when I checked later, there was a notification about a missed call and another one saying I had an active call with that same number. I quickly ended the call, but it’s pretty worrying that a call I missed was able to still establish a connection with me.

As soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just cut off the call and didn’t say a word or leave anything. I’m pretty sure it was some sort of auto dialer probing to check whether my number is live or not.
