2 yearsGot a robo call saying there was some weird activity on my bank account and to press 1 to confirm or 2 to talk to someone. I hit 2 right away, knowing it was dodgy. The person on the line asked what I needed so I told em about the automated message and asked which bank they claimed to be from. They said HSBC. I told them it sounded like a scam. Then they asked if I actually banked there, and I said if they were legit HSBC staff they’d know that already. Told them again I thought it was a scam. Then they asked if I was a man by a certain name (I’m a woman). After that, they just hung up.HSBC2 yearsThis is definitely one of those money sending scams. Honestly, BT ought to take responsibility since they have to be aware that this number is linked to fraudulent activities.BT2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying there’s issues with my PC. Didn’t sound right at all.MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (0117 965 5232)
