Received a phone call from someone claiming to be from BT, chatting about my broadband speed. This chap attempted to fish for my bank details under the pretext of refunding me for an alleged overcharged bill. As if I’d fall for that nonsense! Naturally, I’ve blocked the number. No way I’m letting them pull a fast one on me!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Royal London Insurance, but when I asked about something that they should have known if they were checking my policy, they just hung up on me. Afterwards, I rang Royal London myself and they told me there's no office in Bristol at all. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
