Got a call today from someone saying they were collecting for guide dogs. I wasn’t sure if it was legit or just another scam, so I looked up the number afterwards. Turns out, it was a proper fundraiser, but still felt a bit off how pushy they were. If you’re thinking about donating, maybe do a quick check first, just to be sure it’s the real deal.

Got a missed call from this number earlier. I called them back while at work, and it was just a recorded message saying they were calling on behalf of charities. I gave money to UNICEF more than a year ago, so I reckon they’re just bugging me for another donation. This number keeps ringing me almost every week now. You try to be kind, then they hassle you constantly for more cash!

i took part in a bird count survey for rspb a while back and now i’m getting calls from them pretty much daily asking for donations. it’s getting a bit much!

So this guy rings up, said something about volunteer services, asked for me straight away. Then he goes and calls me by my first name, which really got on my nerves. I told him I wasn’t free to talk and just ended the call. Have blocked the number now.
