Got this automated call from this number earlier, telling me I’m tied up with some tax fraud issue! They wanted me to press 1 to chat with someone about it. Sounds dodgy to me, as HMRC never contacts people like that on the phone. Honestly, it was quite a nasty experience to deal with.

Got a recorded call from "HMRC" saying I was linked to a tax fraud case. They told me to press 1 immediately or else they’d send the police after me. Didn’t even bother asking for my name or anything. Proper shocking stuff.
