Just got a call about reviewing my life insurance with LV. Thing is, I don’t have any life insurance with them at all. I told the bloke that cold calling’s not on. He claimed it wasn’t cold calling because I supposedly agreed when I took out a policy. I insisted that I never signed up for any life insurance, so it was definitely cold calling. These calls come in all the time, almost weekly. As soon as they realise you ain’t got a policy, their next move is to try and sell you one.
