They kept ringing and claiming to be with BT Openreach, but honestly, this is the fourth time now I’ve had calls from different numbers all pretending to be BT. I keep blocking each number as soon as they call. When I told them they weren’t really from BT and that I thought they were just scammers, they didn’t sound pleased at all.

i got a call from a lady with an asian accent, she said her name was angela and claimed there was a problem with my bt internet speed being too slow. i was certain it was a scam and told her straight up. she got really annoyed and started saying i was clueless about tech. i told her i actually knew quite a bit about computers. then she asked for my internet id number, i told her no way was i giving that out and it was a joke to even ask. after that, she just hung up on me.

Some woman called me saying her name was "Crystal" and that she was from Amazon security. She claimed I’d made a purchase of nearly £400 and said she needed to run a security check. I told her I hadn’t bought anything from Amazon today, plus no way they’d ring me from a normal Bristol landline. I called her out on it being a scam, and we argued for a bit. Then she just shouted a rude word at me and hung up! Crazy.

This morning, I’ve had the pleasure of fielding three calls from this number within a mere thirty minutes. I tend to steer clear of picking up when I don’t recognise the caller, but it’s quite irritating when the phone keeps going off like that. Strangely, no voicemails have been dropped, which leads me to believe the caller isn’t reaching out for anything of genuine importance.
