Had a call from this number earlier. They wanted a few minutes but then said they wouldn’t ring me back even if I agreed. Then they just started reading from some script, trying to get me to verify my address and phone number - I didn’t fall for it. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’m blocking them straight away.

I just had a right old nuisance of a call! A lady with an accent so strong it could nearly stand upright off the floor was prattling on about how she wasn’t selling anything and only needed a quick minute of my time. I swiftly ended the call and made sure to block the number. This number claims to be from Bristol, so one might be tempted to pick up, but lo and behold, they’re actually dialing in from somewhere in India - possibly Delhi or Kolkata. It feels awfully familiar, as I reckon the same woman tried her luck yesterday, masquerading as a caller from an Edinburgh number.
