some bloke from uk lifecare rang me up, speaking with a strong indian accent, trying to sell some funeral plan and life insurance deal. i told him straight up i wasn’t interested since i don’t plan to have a funeral. he kept pressing, asking if i had any health issues or if i smoked, which i found pretty annoying. he sounded a bit condescending too. then when he wanted my dob, i refused, and he started going on about how vital life insurance is. that’s when i just ended the call.

An Indian gentleman rang me up but got my name completely wrong.

I’ve been getting persistent calls from the number 01174780148, and it’s an Indian gentleman on the line. I asked him to take my information off their list, as it's clearly an unwanted call, but he outright refused my request. Under GDPR regulations, they really should honour such a plea.
