Called me up sayin they could sort out my debt for me. Wasn’t really sure if it was legit or just another scam.

Someone rang me up saying they were from the Government National Debt Advisors, offering to assist with my unsecured debts and insisting they had backing from the government. Luckily, I’m not in debt to anyone, so I quickly realised it was a total scam.

This number and some similar ones keep ringing me, but whenever I answer, they just hang up straight away. It's really annoying.

They tried to get me to pay using gift cards from either Walmart or Target, it’s definitely a scam. Don’t pick up or respond to them, you’ll just get tricked. Stay safe and don’t fall for it!

Whenever they call, I tell them if they’re after dodgy pics or need to sort out a proper job, because honestly, they’re such timewasters. Usually, they go quiet then throw back a “same to you” when they twig I’m not falling for their nonsense. I like hanging on the line a bit just for the laughs. My advice? Never give real card info - just make up some random digits. If you can’t stop ’em, might as well mess with them and slow their scam down from fooling anyone else.

I've been getting loads of calls everyday but no one actually speaks. There's just this really loud noise in the background. Sometimes it sounds like it's coming from India, other times it feels more like some UK call centre. It's pretty annoying.

Got a call saying I owe some unsecured debt, which I found odd. I asked who was making the claim but they just wouldn’t give me any details. Very unclear what they were on about. When they asked if I had any credit cards, I said no and they ended the call pretty quick.

I keep getting these dodgy calls about ‘debt’ or ‘loan offers’, which I reckon come from some mailing list sorted out by O2, my mobile provider. It’s almost like clockwork - as soon as my contract is due for renewal, the rubbish calls pile in nonstop. Honestly, with all the talk about Ofcom cracking down on these annoying calls, you'd think we'd be better protected by now, but clearly not!

He claimed I owed some money... sounded like he was working out of a call centre in Delhi with a lot of noise in the background, someone chatting in Hindi. I kept him going for about an hour and a half just to see what was up. Turned out it was a scam trying to get me to use gift cards to cover their so-called fees. When I told him I was in the UK and we don’t even have Best Buy here, he got really angry and started hurling insults at me!

Got a call from someone saying they were with National Debt Solutions. They asked about a debt I supposedly owe, but I told them I’ve got no debts and then ended the call. The person sounded Indian and there was a lot of noise in the background too.

Some bloke calling himself Steve Bray said he was with some government debt folks, saying I owed money or sumthin. I told him straight I don’t have any debts. He had a funny accent, not quite sure where from. Why don’t they do more to stop these scammers? It’s getting out of hand.

They've called me for 5 days straight, and every time I answer, they ask how I am. I tell them it’s the same as every other day they’ve called, then they just hang up on me.

I got a ring from this number about some debt I supposedly owe, sounded like the person was speaking from a call centre in India.
