I was looking for assistance with my financial obligations.

I received a rather dubious phone call from someone purporting to be with the Government National Debt Advisors. They were all too eager to assist me with clearing my unsecured debts, boasting about their so-called government backing. Luckily, I’m debt-free, so it didn’t take me long to sniff out that it was just a con.

I was met with nothing but dead air when I picked up the phone.

I've been receiving calls from this number and several others linked to it. They always seem to end the call abruptly without saying a word. It's becoming quite annoying, to be honest!

I urge you to steer clear of this number - it’s nothing but a fraudulent ploy. They've been pressuring me to send funds using a gift card from places like Target or Walmart. Don’t fall into their trap! Protect yourself and don’t engage with them!

I simply inquire if they’d be interested in some rather risqué photos and suggest they find a proper job, those insufferable oafs. I usually get a cheeky "you too" back when they twig that I'm not biting on their nonsense. I like to keep them chatting for a laugh. I’d definitely recommend throwing out some fake card numbers if you’re in a pickle. If you can't get the upper hand, you might as well put a spanner in their works and delay them from conning someone else.

I keep getting numerous phone calls daily where the other end is completely silent, yet there's an overwhelming clatter in the background. It feels like it could either be someone from India or perhaps a call centre based here in the UK. Quite frustrating, really!

It seems that I've got some unsecured debt hanging over me. When I inquired who had mentioned this, the chap was rather elusive and refused to divulge any names. Quite the mysterious exchange! I did ask whether it pertained to any particular credit card, but he dismissed it and ended the conversation. Quite strange, if you ask me!

I've been bombarded with a stream of dubious unsolicited calls regarding ‘debt/loan facilities’ lately. I can only assume these are being churned out from some mailing list linked to my O2 mobile provider. It’s rather frustrating how these nuisance calls seem to spike just as my contract is nearing renewal. What happened to Ofcom's promise of safeguarding us from such unsolicited pestering? It feels more like a distant dream than a reality…

I received a call about some outstanding debt, and it really seemed like I was chatting to someone from a call centre in Delhi. There was a fair amount of background noise, with someone named Heidi chattering away as well. I managed to keep them on the line for about an hour and a half, only to discover it was a scam trying to get me to buy gift cards to cover their so-called services. When I mentioned I was in the UK and that we don't have Best Buy, they completely lost it and started hurling insults at me!

I've been receiving incessant calls from this firm, only for them to cut the line the moment I pick up. It's quite irritating, to say the least!

I've experienced that myself - it's happened four times already today!

Received a call from an outfit purporting to be National Debt Solutions. They were enquiring about some supposed debt of mine. I informed them that I have no debt problems whatsoever and promptly ended the conversation. The caller had a distinctly Indian accent, and the background was rather chaotic.

I received a call from someone purporting to be an advisor regarding national debt issues. He insisted that they had received information suggesting I was in some financial trouble. I swiftly informed him that that wasn't the case. His accent sounded quite foreign, and he introduced himself as Steve Bray. It really puzzles me why authorities can’t take more decisive action against these scams.

They've been calling me every day for the past five days, and without fail, they always ask how I'm getting on. I respond with, “Just the same as each day this week when you’ve called,” and then they promptly hang up. What a strange situation!

I received a call from that same number regarding an unpaid debt, and it has a strong whiff of being from a call centre over in India.
