Got a recorded message from someone saying they’re from a housing association, asking me about problems with my house. I don’t even belong to any housing association though.

They keep ringing pretending to be from some national debt support or something, even when I block one number, another one pops up. Sometimes they call nearly a dozen times a day! When I try to tell them I’m not interested and have already said no to their ‘help’, they just hang up on me. Total scam. Google really should crack down on these numbers. These call centres in India dodge call blockers by using fake phone numbers. Watch out if they start asking for your card or bank info - it’s really aggressive and creepy behaviour.

Got a call that supposedly came from Bristol, but I’m pretty sure it was from outside the UK. The caller claimed to be from "United Debt Solutions," but when I looked that up, there’s no company by that name anywhere. Feels dodgy to me, so I’ve blocked the number. Looks like a scam to me.

I received a troubling call from someone claiming to represent a bogus debt collection firm. Recognising the voice as suspicious, especially since they knew my name but I had no such debts, I promptly reported the incident to the police. I've since blocked the number to avoid any further contact with this scammer.

These 0117 calls keep coming non stop, and its a new number every time! Im so sick of it. I’m definitely going to follow the advice here and report them to the official gov website.

I'm pretty sure this is a scam. Got a call from a Bolton area code, but there was no voicemail left even though it sounded like an automated message was telling me to call back. When I did call, that same number rang me right after. No way am I dealing with this again - both numbers are getting blocked straight away like I always do.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a credit investigation group. When I asked which company, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. They said they’d help me clear my debts without charging anything and just needed me to answer some questions before sending over details of what I could get. I pressed about how they had access to my bank details, and they just replied that they were working for the government. Seemed really fishy to me, so I wouldn’t share anything with them!

Sounds like this is a so-called call centre number from somewhere around Manchester. I've spotted quite a few numbers almost the same, just the last few digits swapped out, which is typical for these types of places. Usually, these call centres handle calls for different companies so you get calls from similar numbers reported for all sorts of reasons. I tried ringing the number back but got no joy, it said the number doesn’t exist or is disconnected. Seems like they block incoming calls, so you can’t get back to them. Has anyone actually managed to speak to someone on this number?

Rang me earlier, I picked up and asked who was calling. They said something about a credit check. I told them to take my info off their list and ended the call. Definitely sounded like one of those dodgy scam calls.

Got loads of calls daily from what seems to be blue financial solutions ltd. The numbers they use keep changing but it's always that one company ringing me up. Staying persistent, ain't it?

Got a call from 0117 463 9411, some bloke with an accent said his name was Jason Brown and wanted to talk to me about supposed debts I owed. I’ve got no debts at all! He sounded dodgy, so I just blocked the number. Definitely one of those fake debt collector scams.

I got a call from a woman who sounded Asian, saying my skybox insurance was up for renewal. I asked if it really was, and she went on about how much I paid last time. I knew straight away it was dodgy since I’ve never even insured my skybox. So I told her, “Are you taking me for a mug?” She ended up saying some rude stuff back that I won’t bother repeating.

This morning, I received a rather curious call from Sam and Tina, both claiming to represent the National Debt Helpline's credit investigation team. However, the moment I requested their company registration number, they abruptly ended the call. Quite the suspicious encounter, if you ask me!

I received a phone call from what they claimed to be the national debt line. I asked them to provide written confirmation from the source that shared my information with them. They were at a bit of a loss and kept pressing me for answers instead. Since they couldn't verify their identity, I'm now just twiddling my thumbs waiting for that letter. Not holding my breath, mind you!
