1 yearI got a call from this number earlier but didn’t pick it up. Later, I received a message saying it was a free Call Alert from 02. It told me to dial 901, hit * and then press option 5 twice if I wanted to stop it.1 yearI got a call from a bloke claiming he was from a charity trying to protect seals from being killed. He thanked me for signing some petition and asked if I could chip in a tenner each month. When I refused, he tried to get me to pay just three quid instead. I still wasn’t having it, so he then asked me to help spread the message about their cause. Less than ten minutes later, another call came through from a different number, supposedly another animal welfare group. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call, but the guy sounded exactly like the first caller.1 yearI heard my phone ring from this number but didn’t pick up.2 yearsThey keep ringing me up non stop.2 yearsThis number keeps ringing me constantly so I stopped picking up, but when I did answer, they kept talking about some timeshare overseas and said they could help get your money back. Total scam, don’t trust it. The first couple of calls I answered were from a woman who sounded like she had a Scottish accent and was doing some sort of sales pitch.2 yearsI can't understand why some folks don't bother to check the right details on these websites and then go on spreading misleading and damaging stuff. Take this charity, for example, they’ve been doing good work for years rescuing animals globally - even in places ripped apart by war where zoo animals are often left to suffer terrible neglect. Nobody’s forcing anyone to donate, just use a bit of common sense! Not everyone’s out to scam you, and heaps of people jump to conclusions without checking their facts properly.2 yearsMy phone showed it might be spam, so I just ignored the call.2 yearsI called the number after seeing what people were saying about it, but there was no voicemail left. When I rang again, a clear and polite message came on, explaining all the info you might need. Definitely no dodgy stuff going on here, and thankfully no annoying whistle blasting to your eardrum either 😉2 yearsThese people won’t stop ringing, just swapping the final four numbers each time. It’s always the same story, asking for donations to some charity and trying to get my personal info. Whenever they ring now, I just blow a whistle right into the phone - hope it annoys them enough to give up. Back in the early 80s, when I was a teenager getting creepy calls with heavy breathing and worse, the Police advised me and my folks to do exactly that. Blast that whistle as loud and long as you can down the line. Glad to hear they eventually nabbed the bloke causing all that grief.2 yearsGot a call from a centre that just wouldn't stop hassling me.2 yearsGot a scam call earlier today, blocked the number right away and deleted it. Happened around 12:47 on the 24th of April, 2024.2 yearsWas trying to scam someone who seemed really vulnerable, which is just awful.2 yearsDonatitot is a total scam, watch out!Donatito2 yearsBlocked immediately and then deleted. Definitely a scam.2 yearsGot another call from some number in Ireland today 13/03/24. Didn’t bother picking up, don’t really fancy talking to unknown people. Most likely one of those scam calls as usual.Ireland3 yearsI let that call go unanswered.3 yearsSomeone rang me claiming to be Richard from the International Wildlife Fund. He kept asking for my wife on my mobile. Pretty clear they were fishing for the card number and those last three digits on the back. I just blocked the number straight away.RichardInternational Wildlife Fund3 yearsDidn’t answer, number wasn’t familiar.3 yearsI’m utterly done with the barrage of nuisance calls that seem to plague me! They really are a bother, aren’t they?3 yearsI've been receiving repeated calls from an unknown number. It's infuriating! I've decided to block them. No clue who this pesky cold caller might be, but if they could hear me, I'd tell them to jog on!4 yearsI've been receiving calls from this number quite a bit, yet they never bother to leave a voicemail. Quite peculiar, really.4 yearsThis number has been ringing me up a couple of times every day for about five days now. I usually ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise, so I haven't answered. No clue who it could be.4 yearsI've been getting calls from this number non-stop, but I have no idea who it belongs to, so I just let it ring.4 yearsYet again, I've been plagued by a pesky caller, another one of those telecom charlatans.4 yearsSince 10 this morning I've had nearly a dozen calls and then they rang me again at 5:25 pm. What on earth is their problem? I tried looking up the number and it seemed to be linked to some money-related stuff according to the auto-answer.
