Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, didn’t pick up. Looked it up on this site and decided to block it straight away.

Got a call from someone cold calling me, and they even lied saying I requested a quote for a funeral plan! They kept pushing even after I said no thanks. Thing that creeped me out the most was they called my private emergency number and somehow knew my name! Definitely felt dodgy. Such a scam, blocked for sure!

Got a call from someone sounding really unprofessional, speaking in a native English accent but with really sloppy phrasing, saying I had been in an accident “some time ago”. Didn’t bother listening to the rest of their badly scripted nonsense, just hung up straight away.

This bloke claimed the call was about some payout for an accident I supposedly had in the past year. I asked him what car I was driving and he said a Fiat, which I denied since I’ve never owned one. Then he handed me to his manager and started the whole spiel again. I had a bit of fun messing with them.

Got a call from a Bristol number, the lady was quite polite but kept asking about a car crash I supposedly had. I told her I hadn’t been in one, then she tried asking if anyone else at my place had. I told her I live alone! She then just said alright, have a good day and ended the call. Seems like a scam to me. I've blocked the number now.

Glad i found this! cheers for all the comments before, they really helped me out. Looks like these calls come from various places in the UK. This one appears to be from Brighton. I always save any number that seems dodgy as a SCAM call, so next time they ring, i just ignore it with no stress.

Young bloke with a strange accent called me claiming I’d been in a car smash and said he was from the insurance firm. Asked him to say the company name again since I missed it the first time, and he suddenly got all shouty and aggressive, yelled it at me (still didn’t catch it, think he was doing it on purpose).
