This number has rung me up twice within just two days. One of the calls came early in the morning around 8:30. Obviously, it’s a scam, so I didn’t pick up. Honestly, I wish the government could do something to put an end to these. It must be really distressing, especially for older folks.

Got a call right at 8 in the morning and it woke me up. Being 72, my first thought was that it might be a relative calling with some bad news, which made me feel anxious.

As soon as I picked up the phone, the mysterious caller dropped the line without uttering a word. When the same number rang again, a chap with an Asian accent began firing off all sorts of peculiar questions and claimed to represent a market research firm. The moment he inquired about my banking information, I wasted no time in blocking that number!

My voicemail shows this number, but because of BT Blocking, I don’t actually hear the ring unless I accept or decline it. Still, the call gets logged on my phone. In just a fortnight, it’s popped up 9 times. When I try to return the call, it just comes back as an unknown number.

Got a call from a Bristol number, but as soon as I picked up on speaker, they just ended the call. Weird.

Phone rang and as soon as I answered, they just hung up. Felt a bit dodgy so I looked it up here. From what I’ve read, best to ignore or block that number if it shows up - sounds like a scam. Someone mentioned calling back, but I’d be careful with that since I’ve heard it might end up costing you a fortune if they reverse the charges. Can’t say for sure, though.

I got a call earlier from something called UK Nations but I didn’t bother listening further or checking who it was. When I tried ringing back, the line just went quiet or they hung up. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I wouldn't give out my name when they asked, and then they just ended the call.

Every time I pick up, there’s that weird awkward silence, then they hit you with cheesy background noise to sound like a busy call centre. Soon after, this person with an Asian accent starts talking, saying it’s for market research. But then they try to pry, asking about my bank and yearly income. Totally a scam - I just hang up and block them straight away.
